So back when I used to play San Andreas: Multiplayer, a lot of the roleplay servers I played on had a function to /afk when you had to step away for a moment. Granted, these servers did have custom scripts, but it was still a great feature. Basically when you did /afk, you character would freeze in place and be completely non-interactable. This included things fuctions like other /commands, but also damage as well. When /afk, you cannot sustain any damage of any sort so you didn't have to worry about dying while AFK from some RDMer or something. There were also rules around this, such as combat-AFKing. The same rules as combat-logging applied here. If you were AFK for 15 minutes, you would be kicked. I'm not sure what the time limit is on ADG but you could definitely apply it to the script. It's just a neat little feature that would help a lot of people when they have to step away to use the restroom or feed their dog or something and not have to worry about waiting in a 2 hours queue again. I would like to note that while I understand that it might SEEM like something like this would just make the queue even longer for other players waiting to join, that wouldn't necessarily be the case. This is because the afk-kick-time will be the same amount of time as if you hadn't done /afk, the only difference is that while you're /afk, you are not interactable or able to be damaged. Like noclip or god mode, but completely frozen.
