Background:

Elias Ketchman is a young, fine, Texas born man. He was raised outside of the city where his family spent most of their time operating their family farm and living the countryside life. His grandfather and father were cowboys and went everywhere with their signature hat. Unfortunately, his father was killed in a shootout as a police officer. Much remembered by the community living just outside Austin as a lovely chap. As the family lose their sole breadwinner, Elias had to drop out of school and sell their family farm. He then relocated with his mother to Los Santos, California in search of a city life, to make his father proud. Living in the back of his black Escalade, he's been hopping from job to job. Ultimately, he aims to follow in his father's footsteps to serve the country/community as either a police officer or even as a coast guard. He always looks to the sky when he has the time and enjoys being around helicopters. If you ever meet Elias, be sure to talk to him. All he wants is to live his life to the fullest in case anything goes south suddenly and defend the people.

P.S. He likes to change the colour of his hat sometimes

6th June 2019:

Report from the city: Elias Ketchman is in hot soup, really hot soup. In the desperate attempt to earn some money to get a house, Elias has gone down a long and deep path, almost unrecoverable from - drugs. He approached a citizen by the name of [censored for privacy purposes] looking to getting into this lucrative business. Trying to be a role model and keeping his clean record, Elias has been trying to keep this under wraps and hardly brings it up. Small amounts of cash has been pocketed, but not enough to fufill his wants. Slowly but surely, some today, some tomorrow, there'll be some weed sold around the city and he'll attempt to clean them weekly or even every fortnight.

Even worse, he was faced with 2 life and death situations that had to involved the government. First one was a cropduster crashing just behind him, severely damaging his beloved Escalade. The second time, he was pursed by an unknown citizen in a black Audi R7 with mint green neons on its undercarriage. Frustrated that this severely affected his profits, he raced towards the fishing pier to board the boat to go fishing out in the rough seas and low cloud ceiling. SAHP police then caught him with the help of Air One by the parking area of the small fishing outpost. Claiming Mr Ketchman clocked in excess of 220mph, close to impossible for a Escalade. Well, as always, Elias attempted to comply to the best of his abilities without the need of force. Still, he was arrested and sent to prison for 2 months under the charge of felony reckless driving. There goes his clean record.

After his release, Elias then proceeded to head out to sea and had a great conversation with 2 gentleman who had offered to be his personal security while transporting cash just a few days ago. They sang on the return trip to the pier and had a impromptu truck race to the delivery location when [censored for privacy purposes] collided with a lamp post and passed out, he was then sent back to the hospital. Unknowingly, the boredom of waiting for his 2 new friends got to him as his bad habit cooked up. Being extremely extra, he started blasting music over the truck radio and driving them to Ammu-Nation on Adam's Apple Blvd. Afraid for their lives, they scrambled and left him alone.

By this time, the sun had begun to set and it was time to take a long sleep. Elias decided to park up and rest for the night up in the north in Paleto Bay. Wonder what is in store for Elias in the coming days...

Elias continued spending his time fishing and making trades of meth, selling them and making acquaintances with a couple of the heavy hitting guys, calling themselves the movement. While driving down the highway, he was pulled over by the same SAHP officer that did it thrice. He pulled over but when he heard his license would be taken, he ran, ran off road even, away where the police couldn't follow. The SAHP tried their best to cut him off but he was smart and made a turn back to the freeway where he went off road from.

Later that day, whilie driving around Little Seoul to take a quick refuel, he met up with the same officer, this time in a police Ford Explorer, ready to follow his ever so sleek Escalade. He put down his foot on the accelerator and sped off, grabbing his oxygen tank and equipment on the passenger seat. Elias got ready to ditch his car, knowing that after multiple pits, the vehicle would not last. Desperate, he drove into the sea off Great Ocean Highway, turned on his O2 pump and swam off into the distance. Returning only when the scene was clear.

Elias then went ahead to give a call to his new friends who evacuated him out of the area, paying 10 grand to cover a cost of a emergency criminal survival kit. Only to be pulled over by cops who saw him in the back of their vehicle. The 3 put on their masks and sped off, SAHP then proceeded to shoot off the rear tires of the vehicle which were bulletproof trying to disable the Audio R7. The co driver and Elias fired off their guns in an attempt to run but another officer came along and joined in the pursuit, engaging in an ever so deadly shootout on wheels.

Eventually, a couple bullets got through the body of the car and lodged in Elias' lungs, which completely gave way. He collapsed and as the doors were unlocked to prepare for a foot pursuit, he fell out of the car and slid some distance down the road. He suffered serious legs injuries which would render him unable to walk and major head trauma that ultimately lead to a seizure that the police were not able to handle. Elias was killed.

Every citizen supported the false warrant created by the SAHP officer claiming there was manslaughter during the 2nd pursuit. Dead even before he reached an old age, born on Christmas 1988, he was 31 when he passed. Forever remembered by his one and only family member left, his mother. Without any money to hold a grand funeral, he was quietly laid to rest back in his hometown, Austin, Texas.

As his body returned home, his friends and previous neighbors mourned his death. Unknown to the public in Los Santos, he had a friend, who desperately wanted to save lives and fly a helicopter as a coast guard too. He was looking forward to Elias returning home to tell him the good news when he was due to return later that year. Now, he's decided to pursue his dream here in town and quietly seek revenge for Elias.  His name is Mark Hammond. Look out for him
