Clarence Orlovsky

The story of Clarence Orlovsky didn’t come easy. Clarence was an immigrant from Poland in which his father escaped and moved to the United States. A couple weeks after they moved into Detroit, Clarence’s father got shot and died from the incident. Detectives told Clarence that it was a gang related shooting. Clarence grew up poor, working nearly any job that came his way. Along the way Clarence’s one goal was to stop others from getting hurt in the way Clarence did. As soon as he was able to, Clarence started studying to become an officer in the Detroit area. His determination throughout his career in the Detroit Metro PD caused him to be promoted to the Chief in that district. He started coming down hard on gang-related crimes. Anyone seen to be related to a gang in any way started facing time in jail. He directed the force that once had the highest crime rate in the country down 15% in his first year as Chief. It was at this point where Clarence had his son, Kenneth. Kenneth was the joy of Clarence’s life and as Kenneth grew up it became difficult for Clarence to balance his personal life and his professional life. It was a saturday afternoon where he got a text from his wife saying that Kenneth had a serious accident. Nobody saw what had happened to Kenneth but all they knew was that Kenneth had fallen into the hot coals of a fire which caused his face to be severely scarred and his personality altered because of it. Clarence tried to balance his life with his son but work became too busy for a personal life. His department was struggling. Kenneth became more disconnected with his family as time passed. Clarence’s wife died after a terrible car crash put her in a coma in which she did not survive. Clarence became deranged in his life after this moment. His department began to fall apart and so did Kenneth. After coming home one evening he notices many teenagers that Clarence had just arrested not long ago for gang violence. Clarence approached Kenneth and asked him why he was doing this but Kenneth did not provide the answer Clarence seeked for. Clarence kicked Kenneth out of the house and let him live off the streets. The struggles continued in the upcoming years as Kenneth had disappeared from the Detroit Metro Area. The house became quiet. This silence pained Clarence as he no longer had the moderate rock music coming from Kenneth’s room. He started to regret his decision to kick Kenneth out. He wanted his son back. Clarence was at a crossroads. Although he wanted to stay as Chief, he knew it was not the best decision for himself. He left the department after 30 years on the force. He had heard that his son may be down in the Los Santos area. He bought a house down in San Andreas where he later joined the Police Department. He joined his nephew, Marcin in the search for Kenneth, looking on every street corner and drug house through the city...
